12 Rhodes rolls, thawed but still cool
1 med. orange rind, grated
½ c. sugar
¼ c. butter
Glaze:
1 c. powdered sugar
1 T. butter, melted
3 T. orange juice
½ vanilla
Heat oven to 350o. Mix orange rind & sugar. Roll roll into butter and then in rind/sugar mixture. Place on a sprayed baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and let double in size. Remove wrap. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from pan and place on cooling rack. Brush w/ citrus glaze.
Recipe given to me by my sister-in-law Brooke Macdonald. She made them for us for the first time at Thanksgiving dinner while visiting them in St. Louis. Every one that tries them, loves them!
