2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt
Combine above in a bowl.
2 sticks margarine
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup water
Bring three ingredients above to a boil then combine with flour mixture. Add:
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pour into greased 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes. Frost while hot with:
1 stick margarine
4 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons buttermilk
Bring above to a boil, add 1 lb. powdered sugar, beat well and pour over hot cake. Can add nuts in frosting if desired.
